Arcane Damage

I’ve been thinking about introducing an Arcane damage type. This would, in all respects, be considered aggravated Bashing. It heals naturally at the same rate as Bashing damage, but is not affected by magic. In the event that it can be soaked, only Armour counts against it.

Obviously the primary source of such damage would be Arcane Feats, but I can also see the benefit of having this kind of damage up one’s GM sleeve for other occasions.

  1. I have no problem with the concept. Will need to see the pactical application before passing a final judgement.



  2. After seeing how it affected my character on Monday I hate it and think it should be scrapped – I want to be all powerful with no down sides.

    Honestly – it works well. Gives a decent downside to gaining will power/heroic reserves at the start of a battle.

  3. I agree with “Turtle72”. It fixes a potential for “overuse” of certain feats…
